Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 is a computer game made by a company called Auran. It is a railroading simulation in which you can drive a wide variety of trains on layouts ranging from small loops to large prototypical routes. It includes an excellent tool called Surveyor that allows you to easily build just about any layout you can imagine. It can be a great hobby in much the same way as real-world model railroading.

Trainz has a great community of enthusiasts who like to hang out at the Trainz Forum. My forum name is Floyd312.

The main purpose of this web site is to describe and provide downloads of the items I have personally created for Trainz. All items are available for download from the Trianz Download Station.

For your convenience, on each item's description page you can click on the item descriptions to download each file from the Download Station. These links utilize Content Manager Plus (or Trainz Download Helper in TRS2004 or UTC) which will already be on your computer if you have installed TRS2006, TRS2004, or Ultimate Trainz Collection (UTC). For Pre-SP2 versions of TRS2004 or for UTC you will need the updated version of Download Helper which is available from Auran's Download Page.

Trainz models can be created using a 3d modeling application called G-Max that is available from Turbo Squid. You will also need the Trainz Content Creation Pack from Auran.
